THE GUIDE FOR INTERNATIONAL RESEARCHERS COMING TO GERMANY

We’d like to present you an information brochure for researchers coming to Cologne providing information helpful for settling down in the city.

In short and clearly structured chapters it gives details that help the newcomers to accomplish things like registration, enrolment and residence permit application with little additional help. They learn what to prepare before the arrival, how to open a bank account or how to use Cologne’s public transport.

The brochure is adapted to Cologne’s reality with many internet links and insider hints.

We have prepared it in response to demands of our international students, trying to answer the most frequent questions and to make the first weeks of stay in Cologne easier both for the newcomers and for us.
